About Us
In 2015, the same year MyUmbrella LGBT+ was founded as a volunteer-project of Reading Pride. We put on our very first vigil to mark the lives lost to trans, non-binary and gender-non-conforming hate.

Annual day of remembrance for those lost to ignorance hate and transphobia. Held on the Wilde Walk behind Reading Prison, this event is being run by MyUmbrella LGBT+ This is a free event for everyone to stand in solidarity with those members of the Trans community who we have lost over the past year through transphobic violence, hate crimes and suicide. This is the first TDoR event in Reading, the event will include readings, a poem and the reading of the names.
